AI ethics takes a prominent place in this landscape – and AIOLIA will be making recommendations for strengthening and improving it further. Five key policy take-outs:
- Connect with the AI Office regarding research exception and recital 27 of the AI Act.
- Revamp and propose an updated EU ethics self-assessment form (section 8 on AI).
- Liaise with national ethics committees, NEC Forum, EGE to establish digital ethics standards and procedures.
- Connect with diplomats to gain a prominent place at the next AI Action Summit in India.
- Offer trainings to computer scientists working in industry.
