Ethics Appraisal Scheme experts are a group of 700+ people who evaluate ethical issues in all projects funded by the European Commission. Not all of them are experts in AI ethics, but over the next year and a half AIOLIA will be offering training to all of them. Today we started with a first pilot session for 20 highly experienced experts who will be providing feedback on AIOLIA training materials. Many thanks to the participants and to the European Commission for facilitating this interesting 3-hour exercise! Next pilot session on June 15th.
