CEA will host the kick-off meeting of AIOLIA in Paris on February 10-11, 2025.
During AIOLIA’s first year, the project partners will identify AI research areas with the greatest impact on human behavior and cognition. We will also explore several industrial use cases to apply and improve ethical guidance in practice. In addition, we will determine which aspects of AI regulatory frameworks—drawn from Europe, Canada, China, Japan, and South Korea—are most relevant for fostering a meaningful international dialogue on AI ethics.
This meeting will include three interactive exercises to help participants evaluate and address complex questions about integrating ethical principles—such as non-manipulation and respect for human autonomy—into AI system design. Partners will also learn about pedagogical materials and trainings developed by the EU-funded iRECS project, focusing on AI ethics in healthcare.
This meeting is an official side event of the AI Action Summit.
Participation is by invitation only.
